Facebook Added Birthday Reminder, a Microsoft Style

Just few days ago Facebook added Birthday Reminder feature built-in into user profile. By enabling this feature you will never miss any birthday greetings anymore. However i was thinking that the way Facebook adds this feature as it’s service is just like a Microsoft style. Since there are many applications provides the same service before, Facebook is now killing them with it’s own feature. Looks like the Microsoft effect is getting visible now in Facebook.

Anyway, it’s up to you whether to use this service or utilize another applications. But if you prefer to use it you can simply enable it from the ‘Settings’- ‘Notifications’. And from ‘Facebook’ section you click ‘Show More’ and enable the ‘Has a birthday coming up’ option.
